Automatic Data Collection We collect certain data automatically while you use our platform, including: • Location Tracking: o For Driver Partners: Location data is collected when the app is active in the foreground or background for service efficiency. o For Customers: Real-time or approximate location data is collected when the app is in use to facilitate ride requests and ensure safety. • Device & Technical Information: o Unique device identifiers (IP address, MAC address, etc.) o Operating system details, app usage patterns, and network information. • Behavioral Data: Frequency of app usage, interaction with features, and engagement trends. • Call & SMS Data (With Permission): o One-time password (OTP) verification. o Customer-driver communication logs (for security and dispute resolution). Prohibited Content Users must not share, upload, or transmit any content that is offensive, misleading, unlawful, or threatens national security and public order. ________________________________________ DATA USAGE We collect and process data for the following purposes: 1. Data Sharing & Protection • Ryde-In does not sell or share user data for targeted advertising. • Data may be shared with affiliates, service providers, or law enforcement as required by law. • Personal information is securely stored and protected against unauthorized access. ________________________________________ SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT POLICY • Driver Partners must pay a non-refundable subscription fee to receive ride requests. • Failure to renew subscriptions will result in deactivation from the platform. • Ryde-In operates on a cash-only model – all fare payments must be made directly between riders and drivers. • The fare shown in the app is a suggested amount, and riders and drivers may negotiate an alternative fare before starting the ride. • Ryde-In does not process, track, or take any commission from payments. ________________________________________ RIDE & CONDUCT GUIDELINES For Drivers: • Maintain professionalism and adhere to local traffic laws. • Contact riders promptly to coordinate pickups. • Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and remain in good condition. • Prohibited behaviours: smoking, alcohol consumption, illegal activities during rides. For Riders: • Treat drivers with respect. • Agree on the fare before beginning the ride. • Comply with Ryde-In’s safety guidelines and policies. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of accounts. ________________________________________ ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION Ryde-In reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of: • Repeated customer complaints or poor service ratings. • Violation of policies or traffic laws. • Engagement in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
