Welcome to Ryde-In! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ryde-In mobile application and website (www.ryde-in.com) (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. ________________________________________ 1. Introduction Ryde-In operates as a technology platform that connects independent driver partners ("Drivers") with riders ("Users"). We do not provide transportation services and are not responsible for any agreements or transactions made between Users and Drivers. ________________________________________ 2. Registration and User Accounts • To use our services, Users must register using a phone number or email address and create a password. • Users must provide accurate personal details, including name, phone number, and email address, for communication purposes. • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. • Ryde-In reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information or violates these Terms. ________________________________________ 3. Cash-Only Payment Model • Ryde-In does not process, facilitate, or track payments. • All payments for rides must be made directly between the User and the Driver. • The fares displayed on the Platform are suggested fares; Users and Drivers may negotiate a different fare. • Ryde-In is not responsible for any disputes related to payments between Users and Drivers. ________________________________________ 4. Role of Ryde-In • Ryde-In solely acts as a technology platform to facilitate ride bookings. • Ryde-In is not a transportation service provider, and Drivers operate as independent third-party service providers. • Ryde-In does not employ, control, or direct Drivers. • Ryde-In is not liable for any accidents, damages, injuries, or losses arising from rides facilitated through the Platform. ________________________________________ 5. Safety Measures • Ryde-In implements safety measures • Users are encouraged to verify the Driver's identity and vehicle details before beginning a ride. • In case of emergencies, Users should contact local authorities immediately. • Ryde-In provides in-app features for User safety, but the responsibility for safe travel remains with the User and Driver. ________________________________________ 7. User Responsibilities • Users must use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Users must treat Drivers with respect and ensure a safe and cooperative environment during rides. • Users must not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes. • Users are responsible for any damage caused to the Driver’s vehicle or property. ________________________________________ 8. Driver Responsibilities • Drivers must comply with all local transport regulations and maintain valid licenses and permits. • Drivers must ensure their vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards. • Drivers must not engage in discriminatory, unsafe, or fraudulent behavior while using the Platform. ________________________________________ 9. Limitation of Liability • Ryde-In is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Platform. • Ryde-In does not guarantee the availability, quality, or timeliness of rides. • Users and Drivers acknowledge that they engage with each other at their own risk. ________________________________________ 10. Dispute Resolution • Any disputes between Users and Drivers must be resolved between them directly. • Ryde-In is not responsible for mediating or resolving disputes regarding payments, conduct, or service quality. • If a dispute arises concerning the use of the Platform, Users may contact Ryde-In support for guidance. ________________________________________ 11. Modification of Terms • Ryde-In reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. • Continued use of the Platform after updates constitute acceptance of the revised Terms. ________________________________________ 12.
